When Two of Us Meet

WORLD PREMIERE PRESENTATION

In 1915, during WWI, Armenia was attacked by the Ottoman Empire and approximately a million people were killed. Based on the playwright’s family history, When Two of Us Meet is the story of one Armenian family. It is a story about resilience, family, and hope. It’s about beating the odds and surviving.

Having done readings in New York and Washington DC, When Two of Us Meet will now come to Pensacola, FL for its first staged presentation.

Looking to hire:

• 5 female actors (ages 18 – 70)
• 5 male actors (ages 18 – 70)
• *Some actors will play multiple roles.
• All actors must sing.

Audition Information:

• If you would like to attend auditions, please reserve an audition time by sending your headshot and resume to penartsinc@gmail.com. Include the subject “When Two of Us Meet Auditions“.
• Please bring a 32-bar cut of a Contemporary Musical Theatre song.
• Bring sheet music and your own accompaniment. We will provide a Bluetooth speaker.
• You will read sides during your audition.
• Sides will be provided at The Gordon on May 11th. Sides will be available to be viewed starting at 5:00PM.

Show Information:

• Rehearsals start July 11th.
• Performances are July 23rd – 26th.
• Rehearsals are weekday evenings and Saturdays during the day.
• All rehearsals and performances are held at The Gordon Community Art Center (306 N. DeVilliers St.)
